I deliberately selected the Riverside branch of Boots after a poor experience with a particular Optometrist in the Castle Mall branch last year. At the Castle Mall branch, the Optometrist was extremely patronising, and support staff simply ordered me to undergo the various tests that happen prior to the actual examination with no explanation of what they were for and no consent being sought. I therefore arranged an appointment at the Riverside branch as I emphatically did not want to see the Optometrist I had seen before. When I arrived, however, it turned out to be the same person I saw last year at Castle Mall. His manner has not improved - he continues to address his patients by their first names and in an extremely patronising manner, and he attempted to carry out the air test for glaucoma without asking my consent.

Riverside Norwich are Fantasic very helpful,friendly and informative
